Boston Independent Film Awards intends to create the best possible virtual online festival in order to promote and recognize indie film and script projects from all over the world. We live in a new era of digital technology and the language of cinema and film production is going through many changes in marketing, distribution and screening of indie films. The festival also screens the best feature and the best short of each edition every year in order to promote film projects and artists. The festival has a seasonal competition which promotes and awards U.S. and International independent films and scripts in various categories. Our intention is to involve the award-winning artists of each season as the jury of the next edition. Each category will be assigned to a jury member. Members will vote and will work under the head jury of the season and the artistic director of the festival.
